BFCSA 1926 Committee

Keith Doe (@KeithDoe) is the current Chair of the BFCSA & was Chair of the original Supporters’ Association. Keith’s first Barnet game was in the late 80s & he was instantly hooked. Keith is a season ticket holder & an advocate of the Club and the supporters working closely together.

David Cursons first started supporting Barnet in 1954, with an early recollection of a 3-2 win against Hitchin Town. As you might image, during this time he has the good, the not so good and, at times, the indifferent! Nevertheless, once a bee, always a bee and at present he is proud to represent supporters on the committee.

Carla Devine (@CarlaDevine1) is from Leeds (no relation to Sean!) & follows Barnet home and away. Her first game was Blackpool away when she was 16 months old in 2001. A 3-2 loss set her up nicely for life as a Barnet fan! Her favourite players are Mark Byrne, Lee Harrison and Jamie Stephens.

Neil Manvell has followed Barnet for over 45 years, his first game a 2-0 win over Frickley Athletic in 1980. His long-suffering family know that Barnet FC is in his blood and his daughter has to regularly explain to people the real reason she is called Amber! He has lived in Barnet all his life and is looking forward to being able to walk to the game again if the dream return of the club to Barnet comes true.

Nicholas Patel (@Nicholas89Patel) has been a season ticket holder since Barnet moved to The Hive. His favourite moments have been promotion against Gateshead at home and the FA Cup game against Brentford. His favourite players are Michael Nelson, John Akinde and Harry Pritchard.

Chris Rutt (@ChrisRutt3) has been a Barnet fan since 2-11 and part of the BFCSA committee since 2023. His first Barnet game was a 3-0 loss at Underhill, which somehow kick-started a love for the Bees! His favourite players are John Akinde, Luisma and Clovis Kamjo.

Mark Whitelegg (@MarkWhitelegg1) has been a Bees fan for 40 years. His first match was a Steve Brinkman testimonial against a Spurs team featuring Perryman, Ardiles and Villa. His favourite player is the one and only football deity Nicky Evans.
