Player of the Year Awards 2026

The Barnet FC Supporters’ Association and Barnet FC marked a memorable evening at The Hive London on Saturday 11th April, hosting our annual Player of the Season Awards following an important 3-2 victory over Barrow AFC that keeps our play-off ambitions firmly alive.

The event brought together players, staff and supporters to celebrate achievements across the club, recognising the contributions of the Barnet FC First Team, the London Bees and the Barnet FC Academy. On the back of such a crucial result earlier in the day, the atmosphere was one of optimism and pride as the club reflected on a season of progress.

In the First Team, Joe Kizzi was named as the most improved player, highlighting his development and consistency throughout the campaign. Nnamdi Ofoborh took home the goal of the season award for a strike against Chesterfield that stood out among many memorable moments.

Young talent was also recognised, with Adam Senior receiving the young player of the season award, representing his emergence as a key figure in the Bees squad this season. Danny Collinge enjoyed a particularly successful evening, picking up both the players’ player and manager’s player of the season awards, clear recognition of his influence and leadership on the pitch.

Off the field, Ella Dragoiu was honoured as club person of the year for her contributions behind the scenes, while Craig Saul received the Lester Finch award, celebrating 25 years of dedication and service to the club.

The night’s top honour, player of the season, was awarded to Ryan Glover, whose performances have been instrumental in our strong return to the Football League.

London Bees defender Cheyenne Flynn also had a successful evening, taking home awards for young player of the season, manager’s player of the season and players’ player of the season for her impressive efforts throughout the campaign.

Striker Shamoy Campbell was awarded goal of the season for a great effort against Cambridge United, as well as taking the big player of the season trophy home.

Meanwhile, Emma Roberts received the most improved player of the season award and Harry Garrod took home the club person of the season trophy.

Micah Macarthy was awarded most improved player of the season from the academy, while Anthony Haralambous won the club person of the season vote.

Aaron Liwala had an enjoyable evening, being named as both the manager’s and players’ player of the season.

With silverware distributed and achievements celebrated, the evening served as a reminder of the unity and ambition running throughout the club.

After another three points on the day, Barnet’s play-off hopes are still alive and the team will be looking to carry this positive momentum into the final stages of the season.
